I haven't seen Dwarf fortress either but hey WTFO is in early development and it's still much more entertaining than Dungeons so I have immense faith in the fans making what DK3 should be. They're just so awesome! Still, DK is hard to compare to other strategy games, it's not even simlar at all to, for example, Crusader Kings 2, Civilization 5. But for me, DK/DK2 were/is two of the best strategy games I've ever played. I'm a kinda young dude, so I haven't been with everyone during Dwarf Fortress and all that.
This looks extremely promising, and I bought the game the first week to show my support.
We've seen other games taking influence from DK, and just failed so bad. But it will certainly be worth the wait! The game got lots of potential, being the spiritual successor of one of the best strategy games in history, it just can't go wrong, I hope. I haven't played it in a while, since it's still in VERY early development, and there is not much you can do in the game, they keep adding stuff all the time, but don't expect it to be done anytime soon. We thank them sincerely.I bought the early acess the first week it came out. Our community has been vital to our success, and we couldn’t have made the game what it is today without their help.
